Program Abstract:

Join us for Part 3 of 3 covering lean project definition, planning, and design. This panel of practitioners including architects and constructors will discuss if and how Lean / IPD is working in the Definition, Planning, and Design phase. We will explore:

• How firm and individual roles may be changing or different
• Internal firm transitions that are necessary to make Lean a success
• Challenges utilizing Lean in planning and design
• How to leverage Lean learning from one project to the next
• What Lean tools are being used and are they successful?
• Time will be set-aside for attendees to ask questions of the Panel.

Date and Time:  Wednesday, June 10^th, 2009, from 6-9pm

Registration Deadline: Monday, June 8th by 12:00 Noon. We’re sorry, but there will be no add-ons after this time. Each person must register and pay to attend the meeting and dinner. Please help us save time, expense, and avoid people showing up at the last minute… plan ahead and register early! We cannot keep costs reasonable and caterers cannot plan their food without 3 days advanced notice.

Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the use of Lean from two points of view. We will hear what is working and what isn’t, and how Lean is affecting firms and individual roles.

5) Questions: A “lightning round” to share your comments and ask questions about the featured presentation / panel.
